2024 Annual General Meeting + Sauna/Cold Dip
It’s that time of year again! Time to look back on all we’ve accomplished, and look forward to the year ahead. Join us for the club’s Annual General Meeting and social.
Where
Marlaina’s house: Carriage House – 41559 Government Road.
SPECIAL DIRECTIONS: This is not the main house. I live in the big grey/wood carriage house at the back of the property. When you arrive, please park on the street then walk down the gravel driveway on the right hand side of the house, through the gate (please close it because we have dogs on the property), and all the way to the back of the property.
Who
This event is for club members, prospective members, or folks who just want to celebrate with us. No registration is necessary to attend, and feel free to share the link to anyone you think might be interested.
We need a quorum of 5 or more members to attend, so please join! Non-members are welcome but are not allowed to vote.
When
Monday, March 3rd. Come at 6:30pm and we will start the official meeting around 7:00pm.
What
If you want to check out the official description on what we have to cover, check out our constitution and bylaws. If dry reading doesn’t appeal to you, here’s the gist:
(1) Determine that there’s a quorom
(2) Approve the agenda
(3) Financial Statements (where did the money go?)
(4) Reports (what did we do this year?)
(5) Looking ahead to next year (what’s coming up?)
(6) Socializing, snacking, optional sauna and cold dip!
What to Bring
I’ll supply some snacking food and some wine / non-alcoholic beverages but feel free to bring your own beverages you prefer! Also bring a swimsuit, towel, and a non-metal water bottle if you want to join for the sauna and cold dip 🙂
